Dr. Maddy Hirshan is easily the most caring, sweet, and personable vet I could ask for. She is incredibly understanding and sweet to my dog who is an anxious boy and has a sensitive stomach and always recommends things that end up helping him quickly and with care. I had gone to other vets before her and they all dismissed his symptoms and just wanted to medicate him/told me that he couldn’t get better, but Dr. Maddy took a very slow and steady approach to figure out what worked and I have such a happy pup now. The entire staff- vet techs, other docs I’ve met with, and front desk are also always so helpful and greet my dog every time he comes in and it always makes me feel so welcome. Highly recommend Chatfield as a vet clinic but also with a special shout out to Dr. Maddy for all her help and love with Yeti.

We've been going to this vet for almost 9 years and couldn't be more appreciative of the communication, professionalism, and compassion we and our pups receive here. Dr. Naturman and Dr. Renehan are exactly the kind of people you want taking care of your pet. When our boxer Max passed at 13 years old (!!), Dr. Renehan handled the euthanasia process with the utmost care. He clearly explained everything that would happen in great detail and made sure we had everything we needed. In our experience, they don't force unnecessary vaccinations, but do a great job of explaining the benefits and potential risks. I truly believe they have the best interests of our pets in mind, and we'll continue trusting them with the care and health of our best friends. Thank you to the whole team at Chatfield Vet!

I can honestly not say enough amazing things about Dr. Tyler Renehan and all the staff here. I never have an issue getting an appointment when I need one. When I come in with concerns about my dogs they truly listen. Sometimes I feel like vets don’t listen because they put all dogs in the same category, but the doctors here really take your word for knowing your pet better than they do. They don’t try to up charge with ridiculous tests that may or may not help the situation.They start small and then go to more costly measures if needed. I recommend everyone I know to this vet because I truly believe they care!! Walk don’t run to make an appointment here.
